Who we are
This policy applies to the l'orange iOS/watchOS app published by PracticallyZen, LLC ("we," "us").

What the app does
l'orange displays your current heart-rate zone on Apple Watch and logs workouts. The app operates entirely on your device.
Data collection summary
- We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share personal data.
- App Store Connect "App Privacy" classification: Data Not Collected.
Health data (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, the app:
- Reads: heart rate and related metrics from the Health app (HealthKit) to compute and display zones.
- Writes: workout records you initiate in the app (e.g., duration, HR samples) to the Health app.
Important points:
- Health data stays on your device and in Apple's Health app. We do not upload Health data to our servers (we have none for this app).
- If you enable iCloud for Health in iOS settings, Apple may sync Health data between your devices; this is controlled by Apple and your iCloud settings, not by us.
- We never use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or other unrelated purposes.
Permissions & control
You can grant or revoke access anytime:
iPhone:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Data Access & Devices → l'orange
Apple Watch:
Watch app on iPhone → Privacy → Health (and relevant workout permissions)
To remove workouts created by the app: open the Health or Fitness app and delete them there.
Children
The app is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by local law. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data sharing
- No third-party sharing. We do not disclose data to advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
- No subprocessors. The app uses only Apple's on-device frameworks.
Security
All processing occurs on-device using Apple's platform security. Because we do not operate a backend for this app, there are no remote databases containing your data.
International transfers
None. We do not transfer data because we do not collect or store any.
Your rights
Because we do not hold your personal data on our systems, requests to access, correct, or delete data are typically managed on your device (Health app/Fitness app and system settings). If you contact us, we will assist with instructions for managing data locally.
Changes to this policy
If we change the app's data practices, we will update this policy and the effective date above. Material changes will appear in-app or on our website before they take effect.
